Donation Cancellation and Refund Policy
IGF India and/or its associated NPOs deeply value all contributions to sustain our mission. However, in the event of cancelling your donation, we follow a reliable refund policy, ensuring you, our donor, have a hassle-free experience. We take the utmost care in processing donations as per the mandates signed by our donors in the donor forms, both offline and online. In case of an unlikely event of an erroneous deduction or if the donor wants to cancel/deduct the donation, IGF India will initiate the refund process within 7 working days from the date of receiving the request from the donor.
Kindly note that the timely refund of the wrongly deducted amount will depend on the type of card used during the transaction. IGF will require proof of the donation amount deducted, along with written communication for a refund from the donor, within two days after the donation has been made.
If the 10bd (tax exemption certificate) has already been issued, a refund of the donation amount will not be applicable. In other cases, the donation amount will be refunded after deducting the donation processing charges, as per the payment gateway service charges.
